It's Strawberry Day's Again!

Strawberry Day's again! So many activities!
After the parade and luncheon it was time to hit the carnival! This year we had more tickets than we could use! But we gave it a darn good try! Macie called me to be sure I had the "pink tickets" for her! Sure enough Macie girl we got em!

Parade Day!

We picked up the boys to come and help us in the Springville Parade. They were so excited! Thanks for the help guys!

What a great group! They all worked so hard! It was really fun...but we had to move quick! We handed out over 4,000 fliers in the two parades!

Lemon Meringue Cupcakes

Becca and the girls came over on Friday with a big project in mind. Becca found a yummy recipe for Lemon Meringue cupcakes with lemon curd filling. She bought all the fixins and came over to bake!

Here are the girls cracking eggs and mixing up the batter!

All done! Delicious! I won't mention that there were 6 squares of butter in 36 cupcakes! However Becca keeps reminding me that we didn't use all of the lemon curd...so they were all that bad... Yeah right!

Swinging in the Summer Time!

Macie and Millie came to play.... They couldn't wait to get outside and get on the horse swing! They love that and the trampoline!

The cotton was blowing so hard that we had to go inside! You can see it on the ground...it was thicker than snow! It was blowing so hard you had to cover your face and eyes! Icky stuff!

Our Trip to SLC for Strawberry Days

Every year we get to go to SLC with our Royalty to be on Good Things Utah -where Mady was on the cooking segment. We also took donuts from Daylite for them... the girls LOVE those donuts (so do we!) Then off to lunch at the Jos Smith Memorial Bldg...then to the Church Office Bldg to see Elder Snow our area rep. This is the first time Lizzy got to come! It was such a fun day!

Time to Plant the Garden

Abby and Audrey came over as I was going to Cook's to get some plants! They came with me and made it a fun outing! It's always more fun with some grandkids!
