High School Football!

I had forgotten the feeling that comes with a good old high school football game! The lights, watching the teams running out on the field the touchdowns! We've been to lots of games starting with our own high schools and then with our kids at Pleasant Grove. We have had 2 on the drill team and 2 on cheer and lots of excitement each week. We have now moved on to a new chapter with Mckay playing on the Logan JV and Varsity! What a fun experience! He came down this week to play at Mountain View! From the minute I walked in...my heart beat a bit faster and I started to remember all those fun times! It was so great to be there!

Hal and our Mckay #19 for the Logan Grizzlies!

Advice from uncle Matt?

Here we are with all the avid supporters!

I love driving up and seeing the buses from the opposing team!

A victory for Logan! Good Job Mckay!

Off to law school...One last time!

Audrey and Abby... so cute!

We've loved having Becca ~Levi and the girls here this summer! They are off on their adventure again! Levi has one more year at Gonzaga! After having Ryan and Heather and the girls and Becca and Levi and their girls with us for about 6 mos... our house is sadly quiet! We love and miss all of you!

Treasure Hike!

Nate explained the rules of the treasure hunt and then we were off! The clues were hidden and the kids had to find them! A beautiful hike and a tree full of chocolate as the treasure! Fun!

Growing Donuts!

Whenever you are camping up the mountains... you really should try to plant donuts! What a fun tradition! Those donuts taste better than any other!

Get a good stick and dig a hole.

Put the stick down into the ground securely...donuts are heavy!

Then plant your seeds. The best ones I have found are Honey Nut Cheerios! They make the sweetest donuts!

Get those seeds deep in the ground.

Preston said the seeds disappeared.... after they planted them!

Here we are... what a goofy grandma!

Audrey and Mason were really fascinated with the magic sprinkles! Here they are putting them on top of the seeds.

A kiss for luck!
Just a few more Mason!

Now.. Grandpa is teaching the Donut Dance!
Donut Donut Hey! When you say "Hey" Stick out your right leg! Then keep repeating it as you walk around in a circle!

Then you go over and say magic words over the sticks!

Here is the movie...showing Grandpa's Donut Dance!

Now we are just going to have to wait!

Because of all the rain... it only took a few hours for the DONUTS to grow!! How cool is that?

Everyone is just amazed and in awe!!

They were a little hesitant to pick them!

Not for long....

Mason loves the chocolate ones!

Here is the Donut Crew! Good job Guys! Those were the best donuts ever!

Camping Trip

Nate and Jenny got us some campsites in AF canyon last week!! It was such a fun weekend. We started out with great weather and it got really rainy by bedtime and then again in the morning! I love my kids so much! They are amazing! This weekend could have been a disaster...but they all worked so hard to make it fun and memorable! They eat in the rain...cook in the rain...play games and just hang out! Not a word of complaint! On Saturday morning during breakfast it just dumped and they ate and then all went in the trailer and played games... no complaining...just fun! They are awesome!

Moving another canopy down for dinner at our campsite in the rain!

Yummy lasagna and salad! Thanks Matt and Angie!

The kids are loving it!

The rain is here! Luckily we had some extra coats!
