Bountiful Baskets!

Lizzy taught me a new trick today! She called last Monday and had me get online and order a "Bountiful Basket" for $15.00. It is a co-op of people that buy produce together. I had never heard about it...but she heard about it in Cedar. We had to be there at 8:45 to pick it up. It was well worth the effort!

Here are the volunteers setting it up for us.

Baskets Baskets and more baskets!

We each got a fruit basket and a vegetable basket!
For $15 we got bananas, apples, black berries, pineapple, cantaloupe, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, chard, lettuce, tomatoes, and more things I can't remember! Starting in 2 weeks it pick up will be every week in PG at the Lincoln Academy. Remember to get on line Monday at 4:00 to sign up! You can also get 5 loaves of whole grain bread for $10.00 more. I LOVED IT!

Easter Egg Hunt!

What happened to those warm days we used to have for the Easter Egg Hunt? The last two years have been so COLD! Once again we hid all the eggs in the house... Still really fun!

I have lots of pics of my kids on these stairs...now it is the some of our grandkids! Brings back a lot of memories...
I did something different this year... I bought prizes instead of candy. The kids each got coupons in their eggs....for different prizes. I think the moms were happier and it was actually cheaper than ALL THAT CANDY! However it took a lot of thinking on my part... The kids loved it and it may become a new tradition!

Macie and Mason hunting!

All the eggs.. FOUND~ !
