Smitten!

Lizzy and Dallas are smitten with Tytan!! It's such a joy to watch them. They love him so much! It is so fun to have them here! We can't get enough of this sweet baby boy!

I say... What's not to love?

We are rewarded with smiles everytime we talk to him!
However there are those moments... Dallas waits patiently while I got the camera...even though we were both covered! LOL!

Mckay's Baseball Game

Mckay came down last Saturday to play Payson and Salem Hills in a double hitter. It was a bit cold and really windy... But we had a great time! It is so fun to watch him play! Great game Mckay!
If you look really close... you can see that ball coming in! He sent it flying and got to first!

Waiting to bat

Lizzy Dallas and Tytan came down...

Jaxson brought his BIG blanket and kept warm and cozy!

Hal and I
This is during the 2nd session of conference..Brett had his earphones in... This is the sustaining of the General Authorities... High Five... They were trying to look nonchalant! We DVR'd the sessions and enjoyed them later...

And one more time!

The King and I

I got to have a special date with my Sadie girl last Friday! My niece directed "The King and I" at PG Jr High. Her son Joseph was the King! It was a great production! The costumes were amazing and the kids did a really wonderful job! Lizzy and I took her to dinner at Purple Turtle and then Dallas met up with after for the play. Grandpa had to work :( My picture with her did NOT turn out.. but I really was there! Thanks Sadie! It was so fun to be with you! I love you! Check out that Oreo Shake! Yummy! Tytan came with us! He was a champ! Sadie and Lizzy Joseph in the "dying scene" Curtain Call! On our way home!

Leprechaun Lunch!

Last year we had a Leprechaun Lateover and this year a Leprechaun Lunch!

Green hats and leis all around!

Grandpa built a leprechaun trap! It was the coolest ever! Did you know if a leprechaun gets caught in a trap... he turns to stone so you can't get his gold? It's true!

Checking out the trap....

The kids found lots of gold coins around the trap....so they knew a leprechaun was close by!

Well we decided to come back in the house and play some Shamrock Bingo as we waited to see if a Leprechaun might find our trap!

Jenny helping the kids!

Everyone is working hard on this game!

Audrey ~ Ryan and Millie

Matt is our Leprechaun Bingo caller!

Lots of fun!
Then it was on to YUMMY GREEN FRENCH TOAST and Green cupcakes!

Delicious!
Then we did a tribute to Grandpa Hal!

Sunglasses and moustaches! Hal got a big kick out of these kids! Wish I gotten one good picture!
THEN WE LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND THE TRAP WAS SPRUNG!!! DO YOU THINK WE CAUGHT A LEPRECHAUN? WE BETTER GO AND CHECK!

Everyone waiting to see if we caught one! Open the trap carefully!
Waiting...waiting...

Oh my goodness! We DID catch one! But it looks like he turned to stone!

Grandpa pulled him out very carefully... could he still run away?
Becca looks a bit surprised...

Oaks...isn't quite sure what to make of all this! Almost 12 is an hard age... to believe? or not to believe?
Trey got a turn to hold "Patrick"

Mason was amazed!
All in All it was a really fun afternoon! The kids are amazed that we have a real Leprechaun albeit turned to stone...on our mantle! Who knew?
Then it was into the family room to watch "Darby O'Gill and the Little People and then the traditional Irish Fling!
I have a great video of the dance.... so come back and as soon as I figure out how to do it it will be here!
Macie ready to head home!

A Special Gift

Primary Children's Medical Center is SLC has a tradition of giving all their special little babies a beautiful handmade quilt. Lizzy and Dallas took Tytan to his cardiologist a couple of weeks ago and sure enough he received a quilt as well! Lizzy came home with tears in her eyes and said "I guess we are officially members of the Primary Children's Family!" What a blessing that is! It's a darling little quilt that matches everything she has done for his room! All those years Grandma Marchbanks has made quilts to donate to them...and now we have our very own! Lucky Tytan!
Home with a great report from the cardiologist! Nothing had changed and he is doing GREAT!

My cousin Kathy Mitchell Abrams just sent me this photo! She found it on an old slide. We are in my aunt and uncle's back yard in SLC... Kathy is next to me and another cousin on the left. I've never seen this photo...but I do remember the day!

Outside afterwards...yummy suckers all around!

Three Mom's and Three Kids!

These are Lizzy's roommates and dear friends! Lisa and Ashley! They came over on Wednesday to see Tytan and I just had to post a picture of all of them! They are all married now and they each have a beautiful baby. Lisa and Lizzy have the two boys.. Rockwell is a month older that Tytan... and Ashley has adorable Madison and another baby on the way! It was so fun to see them and while they were here it reminded me of a picture of them... at our Halloween Party years ago! So I found it and here it is! Love you girls! You are all three beautiful mothers and I am so proud of you!
