A New Baby Boy!

Jenny called us on Sunday morning about 10 and said they were at the hospital. She wanted us to go and get the boys and take them over to await the arrival of their baby brother! They were all really excited!

We called and said we were on the way to get them...and they were all ready with their shoes and coats and ready to go! Look at those smiles!
They got to see mom when they got there... They were really excited!

They stayed out in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours! They were getting a bit impatient! But they were troopers and hung in there! The nurse kept getting snacks and drinks for them and they were such good boys! I kept giving them updates and when things were looking a bit worrisome Hal started getting stressed....but the boys were great!
The monitors kept dropping on her contractions and so it was getting a bit stressful for all of us! When we ended up with 8 additional medical personnel in the room...then I got worried!

They all look calm don't they? They are so great!

Then he arrived! His cord was around his neck twice and around his chest and arm. Jenny was a pro and delivered him in great shape! He was a bit blue and had a little problem remembering to breathe but he came out of it quickly and was a little champ!

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather Leon Edwin Marchbanks of Mapleton, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday November 15th, 2010, surrounded by his family.
Leon was born on October 19, 1928, in Mapleton, Utah, to Leo Marchbanks and Helen Carrick. Leon married his eternal sweetheart Vivian Inez Adams on the 13th of August 1947, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.
He learned the value of hard work and service at an early age. He was a very hard worker and put his best efforts into the many jobs he had. He and Inez raised their family on a farm in North Orem where they taught their nine children the value of work and service. On many cold winter days you could find Leon on his tractor plowing snow for the neighbors. He also spent many hours working on the church farm with his children. They moved to Mapleton in 1978. Leon worked at Geneva Steel for 40 years. He also worked for BYU and the LDS Church. Leon had a great love for America and the values that our Constitution stands for.
Leon has always been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His testimony and his love for the Savior are strong. He served many church callings including Elders Quorum President, Sunday School President and was a Temple worker in the Provo Temple.
He is survived by his loving wife, Inez and his 7 sons and 2 daughters. Hal Leon (Terry), Joseph Dan (Jill), Maelynn Barney (Bill), Gil Edwin, Kim Leo (Julie), Val Lee, Jon Joshua (Lonny), Julie Seegmiller (Jon) and Adam James (Lovette). He is also survived by his sister Nona Gillman (Dean) and a brother Terry Marchbanks (Lucille). He is survived by 36 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vena, Shirley and his brothers, Reid and Alan.
The family would like to thank Susan & Sergio at Health Watch for their love & kind service to our Dad.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Mapleton 8th Ward Chapel, 1215 North 1000 West, Mapleton, Utah. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m at the Mapleton 8th Ward and Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

Wheeler Farms Oct 2010

Still catching up! Screamin Daily Deals had a great deal for Wheeler Farms-so we all went! I had never been there and it was really fun! The kids loved it and it was a fun morning!

Utah State Bar Swearing In Ceremony!

On October 12th we were invited to Levi's Utah State Bar Swearing Ceremony!! It was so awesome to be there and see Levi take his oath! He has worked so hard to graduate from Law School and pass the bar! We are so proud of him! Here are some pictures of the day!
