Lindon Day's

Lindon Day's was pretty low key this year. We made a project and ate some yummy watermelon! It was SO HOT! We enjoyed the parade and just being together.

Here is the starting of the parade

Here comes our float...

We won the Royalty Choice Award

Provo City came to our tiny parade.....
Then we went down to the park.... Home Depot provides wood projects for the kids! We found the only shade and pounded those nails in!

Becca helping her girls.

Abby wanted to make a boat to float down our stream.

Audrey made a bird house!

Macie wanted to make a tool box..

Millie and granny made a boat! I'm not good at this and Hal had to rescue me!

The Cottage in the Woods

This is Granny Great's cottage in the woods... She and Grandpa built it for the grandkids many years ago. Many little children have had hours of magical enjoyment here!

Abby is going to take me on a tour...

This is the main area...

Table and chairs

Abby cooking for me...

The bed... a bit blurry... but so amazing! I didn't get a picture of the loft... dang it! This is truly one of my favorite places ever!

Granny Great's House!

Becca called and said Granny had apricots...and hoped we would come and pick some! Sure enough...we did!

The most perfect apricot tree in the world! Great for climbing too!

Brigham is the biggest helper - with his box... ready to pick!

Up in the tree...

Yummy Yummy!

Abby found a dress up in the cottage and danced all through the garden !

A bit on concern on Trey's face... it started to rain with some thunder and lightening!

Granny Great gathered them all in by the tack house to stay dry! Wow! We sure love her!

These are some pictures of her amazing gardens!

I think it is the most beautiful place in Utah~!

Grandpa has two big helpers!

Mady's Wedding!

People often ask me why I do Miss Pleasant Grove. I do it because I love the girls! I love watching them grow...and accomplish some really remarkable things! Then I get to watch them fall in love and get married! That is the payoff! Mady (our Miss Pl Grove from last year) and Cory got married on Saturday and what a beautiful reception it was! It was perfect for Mady!
Betty her grandmother is my cohort in crime and we pretend we are sisters...since neither of us have one! I love her! Lucky me!

Perfect evening! I love you Betty Mady and Cory!

Weekend in Logan...

Amy took Mckay to Rexburg to COLLEGE!(YIKES!!) and so we ran up to stay with the kids! They are such great kids!
We headed off to find some dinner...

So it was Pizza Pie Cafe... This restaurant started out many years ago in Rexburg Idaho... as the "Sober Society Pizza". We used to go there when I was at Ricks... and now it just came to Logan. It is DELISH!

Autumn... Taylor and I! I get an extra granddaughter for a couple of days!

Hal and Jaxson...

Hunter was loving this food! It really was yummy!

Benny just couldn't get enough!

How I love this girl! She is so amazing!

Then it was home for some video games! How cute are they?
On Saturday morning we had Jaxson's football game! It was so fun to see him playing for the first time! We had to leave about 1/2 time and he was on the kickoff...so I stayed to watch and shoot some pics...
'
That is Jaxson by the coach....

Check out that catch!!!! Then he took off running...

There he goes!

still on his feet..... 15 yards and then he got knee'd in the thigh and it took him out! What a GREAT PLAY!
