I am totally fascinated with my camera... I love getting pictures in mid air! LOVE IT!

Danielle's Funeral

A very sad day today. It was the funeral for our beautiful niece Danielle Marchbanks Mason. It is even more sad because it was a drug related death. She was a beautiful young woman that made some sad choices that caused her life to end prematurely. This is a tough way to have a family reunion... but it was so great to see all of our family. Thanks to our kids for all of their support today! Matt your song was beautiful! We love you Dani!

Freedom Festival Parade

Our 4th of July started off early! We were up at 5 AM to get a seat on the parade route. Oakley, Preston and Nate came down to help us save a place! Heather was racing in her first big 10K...she looked great as she passed us! The weather was perfect..a bit overcast and except for a short downpour it was great! We were under the canopies so we had a great view and no rain! The parade was not nearly as fun as watching the little kids! They had a blast especially in the rain! What a crazy year! We haven't been to one parade or Strawberry Day's activity without the threat of or actual rain!
