Donuts Donuts Donuts!

Yesterday I was calling Hal and accidentally got Mason... He kept saying.. "Donut Grandma" I told him I would call him back in a minute and hung up. Jenny called me right back and asked what I told Mason... he kept saying "donut"... I told her I wasn't sure what that was about... but that he got me thinking that maybe we should make donuts...So we did! They were delicious! Thanks for the great idea buddy!

We are all getting OLD!

I was so surprised when my sister in law called to say that she was having a surprise party for her husband Jon... he was turning 50. That was a bit of a shock... I know I am getting older...but so is everyone else I guess! I couldn't believe he was 50! Yikes! We had a yummy dinner and fun time with my darling nieces and Hal's family! Gosh they are growing up too!

Pine Nuts!

Every fall for as long as I can remember I would get my dad a sack of pinenuts. I would send them up to him in Seattle and he would call me so excited! He LOVED pinenuts! Now everytime I see a package of them it brings tears to my eyes. I know how much he would enjoy them and it always makes me miss him even more! What a great memory. I sure do love and miss you Dad!
