Prom Weekend

Can you imagine that our Taylor is 16? I can't hardly believe it... but nevertheless.. She is! So ...my dear friend Lois and I got thinking... I'm still not quite sure how it all happened...but she has a darling son... Nick! Nick and his friend took a chance (never having met them) and invited Taylor and her cute friend Kelli to go to the Timpanogos Prom. I wasn't sure if she would want to or not... but they both came down and had a great time! Nick is adorable and his friend Nathan is too. They treated the girls so well and they loved it! I loved having them here! It was such a fun weekend! I never thought I would have another Prom goer in the family! It was so fun to be here while they got ready and I loved taking pictures! I had kind of forgotten how fun that is! Love these two darling girls!

I drove to Logan and got the girls...along with Benson and Jaxson...for the weekend.

The first night the guys were walking up the driveway for their "day date" and they both came running in and hid beside me on the floor...they were a bit nervous. They make me laugh!

Here they are getting ready for the big event! Lizzy and Becca turned the kitchen into quite the salon! Funny how you realize how you have missed these moments!

Just before they left to go home on Sunday night... I pulled out the souvenirs!

Every girl needs to remember her first prom! Lois had her double discount day at BAB and so I indulged and got them a Prom Bear! Taylor's has gym shoes... (because that is what she wore:) and Kellie's has crystal shoes!

They loved them!

It was such a fun weekend! It brought back so many memories of Amy and the girls going to their dances! I loved every minute of it!
